5T coordinates the implementation of the next Regional Electronic Ticketing System (BIP Project), aimed to seamless integrate in a unique contactless smartcard the entire mobility network in Piemonte.
The secure session of ratification is the main original value of Calypso. It performs the authentication of the card,the authentication of the terminal, the authentication of all the data exchanged during the session, and the proof that the card modifications have been correctly executed.
These operations are carried out with a high-speed algorithm to provide the shortest transaction time, which is essential, when using the card for access control.
The final version of the Calypso Security White Paper as result of the WG8 working group has been approved.
